Well, I've just about finished packing...and repacking....and repacking...
I just want to be sure I have EVERYTHING we'll need.
It's hard, if not impossible, to get many of the common items we take for granted here once we get to Malawi, so I am wracking my little old brain and following the recommendations of experienced travelers.
We can have a backpack and carryon bag each and two checked bags each. The second checked "bag" is actually a tote that we will leave in Malawi for Joe Veal and YouTurn Ministries. They cannot get them there.
We've stowed an empty suitcase inside just in case we have extra things to bring back...like African wood carvings and souvenirs :-)
Tuesday morning we will be heading to the airport. Keep us in your prayers as we travel and especially while we are ministering village to village sharing God's love!!!
Thank you Father for leading us to this work and supplying the support and funds we needed to get there. We know You don't need us, but that You have allowed us to enter into the work WITH You... to be Your hands, Your feet, Your heart, for a few precious days, to the beautiful people in Malawi.
Thank you Jesus!!
